2003 Eastern Division Fall Weekend
This year, we returned to Peru, Vermont and the Bromley Sun Lodge for our annual fall weekend. The weekend began on Friday night with a rehearsal and some good fellowship. After a hearty buffet breakfast on Saturday morning, we were off to Londonderry and the Second Congregational Church for rehearsals. The afternoon was free to do as we wanted: shopping in Manchester, the annual Peru Fair, or just relaxing at the hotel. The concert was on Saturday evening and we sang to an appreciative full house. We returned to the Sun Lodge for refreshments and a cabaret (a chance for us to sing a solo or two). And, of course, there was impromptu group singing. On Sunday, we returned to the Second Congregational Church where we sang for the morning service. A delicious brunch awaited us at beautiful Landgrove Inn. From there we said our good-byes and headed home to Rhode Island, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania and Illinois (I think that's everybody!).
